Oklahoma update

Date: May 21, 2013

This info came from a brother who is also an amateur radio operator (ham) in Texas. He operates an emergency net on the amateur frequencies daily.

Brothers and Sisters,

I have heard from three brothers and sisters in the Oklahoma City area

in the past 15 minutes.

Unofficial preliminary information is that no brothers or sisters were

killed. However, we still don't have all the information from the

elementary school in Moore where they are still searching and don't know

if any JW children attended there.

Reportedly, four brothers lost their homes. Not sure whether that was

in Shawnee, Moore, or a combination.

One brother who lives 15 miles west of Moore said it is far different

from watching the news. This time it's real, and driving by the area is

surreal. This time it's neighbors and real people who could be you.

Another brother who lives northwest of Oklahoma City confirmed there

were four homes lost. The KH in Moore is south of the tornado's path and

is intact. One family lived in the neighborhood that was destroyed. They

barely got out in time. Some of our Vietnamese brothers survived in a

shelter. One family of four witnesses lived in the area hardest hit and

lost everything, but they were in a shelter and are safe.

I will pass on to you any further information I receive. Please let me

know if you hear any factual info.

Warm regards,

Charlie
